What is this? Our annual Spring Conference is our biggest event of the year. We have something to offer for all k-12 and college educators. There are up to 12 distinct educational sessions, a full buffet lunch, and plenty of opportunities to network. You will have the opportunity to listen to inspiring presentations, take part in engaging discussions, and find out about the latest teaching approaches that can help your students reach their potential.Attendance at our conference also includes a full year of membership!

The importance of teaching English, reading and writing cannot be understated. It is the basis for knowledge and understanding in almost every field. However, often times these skills can seem mundane or unimportant to students. That is why we are so lucky to have Tom Newkirk as our keynote speaker this year. His keynote, Minds Made for Stories, will make the case that stories are necessary for human comprehension (and pleasure) –and should be part of all the writing we ask students to do.
